Queensland Roar jumped to third on the A-League table with a comprehensive 4-1 win over Perth Glory yesterday. Two internationals and two youngsters scored for the Roar with Holland's Sergio van Dijk and Scotland's Charlie Miller joined by Young Socceroos Tahj Minniecon and Mitch Nichols on the scoresheet.
Perth's Jamie Harnwell made the scores 3-1 when he netted for the Glory in the 58th minute.
Roar coach Frank Farina was delighted with his team after the match.
"A win is always good for confidence. The big thing was it being at home," Farina said.
"We've played very well at home I say this season, but the last three games we've failed to score.
"Tonight we've scored four. The last few games we could have scored four as well but we took our chances tonight and that was the difference."
Queensland now sits third on the table, overtaking Central Coast and Sydney FC whilst Perth remains on the bottom.
