MLS Commissioner Don Garber says venue plans for a new stadium in Flushing Meadows, Queens will be announced soon.
The league and New York City have been negotiating to build a soccer-specific stadium in order to placer a second NY MLS franchise there by 2016.
Garber insisted that if the development does go ahead, it will only be in Flushing Meadows, and nowhere else in New York.
"If we get this done, it will be in Flushing Meadow Park. There is no Plan B," he said.
