Quartet of Serie A teams renew French insurance sponsorship

French insurance giant Groupama has confirmed a host of sponsorship renewals in Italian football, reports SportsPro. In deals brokered by the Infront agency, Groupama has signed one-year renewals with Serie A sides Lazio, Cagliari, Palermo and Genoa.

The company has sponsored the teams for two years already.

Groupama managing director Christophe Buso said, "sporting events convey many of the values we believe in, such as team spirit. The sponsorship will help strengthen the presence of our brand, especially in the regions of Lazio, Liguria, Sardinia and Sicily where we have 250 agencies."

Infront Italy president Marco Bogarelli said, "We are pleased that this year such a major international insurance group as Groupama has chosen soccer as one of its means of communication.

"This is an important confirmation of Infront's strategy, which thanks to the expansion of the teams in its portfolio - currently Cagliari, Genoa, Lazio, AC Milan, and Palermo - will increasingly position soccer as an important communication platform capable of reaching many and varied targets.
