Fabio Quagliarella wants to follow Udinese teammate Antonio Di Natale into the Italy team.

"I can't deny that I would have liked to be part of the national team," he told the Messaggero Veneto. "I will be in the stands supporting Di Natale and I will calmly hope that my chance comes.

"I will go on the field for Udinese knowing what I have to do. Marcello Lippi makes his choices, but he has great strikers at his disposal.

"Last year, Di Natale and I were the third most prolific attack in Serie A but people don't talk about us much and we often joke about it."
