Former Udinese striker Fabio Quagliarella is delighted with his move to Napoli.

"The fans welcomed me with such warmth, but I had no doubts they would. I know what Napoli is like and how much the fans love this side," said Quagliarella.

"It is wonderful to be here and I get the feeling we have everything we need to do really well. It is like a dream come true."

Quagliagol grew up not far from the Stadio San Paolo, but had never played for his beloved Partenopei until his £16m move.

"I like responsibility and knowing the club put a lot into signing me. Napoli represented a dream for me and when they showed an interest I didn't think twice.

"I love this city, I am a Neapolitan and so for me this is the best I could ever ask for."
