QPR's Ramsey praises Liverpool's Rodgers but unsure how long he will last

QPR boss Chris Ramsey has praised Liverpool counterpart Brendan Rodgers but he is unsure whether or not the Northern Irishman will stay in his job beyond this summer.

Ramsey takes his QPR team to Anfield to face the Reds on Saturday and was full of admiration for what Rodgers has achieved although he knows very well that the cut-throat nature of football could quite possibly take its toll.

Ramsey said: "I don't know if he'll get much more time and, ultimately, with the pressure cooker of football, statistically managers don't stay in their jobs very long.

"He has done a good job. He's a young man and for what he has achieved and how he has influenced the game in England and his bravery, it has been remarkable and the flak that he's getting is unwarranted.

"In August he's going to be a tactical genius again when Liverpool win their first three of four games."
