QPR midfielder Jermaine Jenas is ready to face Aston Villa this weekend.
The on-loan Tottenham ace had an ill-fated spell at Villa last season.
Jenas told the Fulham Chronicle: "I never feel I've got anything to prove when I face an old club. I know how good I am and have faith in my own ability.
"If you start going into games like that it takes away from your team, and I've always been a team player. I'll be concentrating on doing my job for QPR.
"I ruptured my Achilles in that spell which brought my stay to an end, which was unfortunate because it's a top club and I was enjoying my time there.
"I've got nothing but admiration for them. They treated me with the utmost respect and looked after me during that tough time.
"But I'll be going there with a professional head on to make sure we get a result out of the game."
