QPR signing Esteban Granero will put friendships to one side for the derby against Chelsea.

Granero is close to Chelsea ace Juan Mata, who has helped the former Real Madrid midfielder settle in West London.

"I like to play against my friends. I have friends here, for example I will play Mata on Saturday," said Granero.

"I used to play with him in Real's academy. We are friends until two hours before the game."
