QPR midfielder Joey Barton is happy at Olympique Marseille.

The controversial midfielder has rebuilt his career at l'OM, which are keen to sign him permanently.

"I'm very well. It was difficult because I came into the group arriving late because of my suspension but after playing more, I've found my bearings," said Barton.

"For the festive season, there was a break that does not exist in England. It's good to be back after this recess. I love life and I'm lucky to be in Marseille and to play for a club like OM. It is a privilege," he told the club's website.
