QPR midfielder Joey Barton is traveling to France today for talks with Olympique Marseille.

The Daily Mail says Barton will travel to France on Wednesday morning as his move to Marseille was back on - just hours after the controversial QPR midfielder declared it was off.

The 29-year-old revealed he had been banished to train with the reserves on Tuesday before claiming his hopes of moving to the French giants had been shattered, leaving him "heartbroken".

Barton will now look to finalise his move to the Ligue 1 side with agent Willie McKay although the French transfer window does not slam shut until September 4.
