QPR hope to finalise a deal for Fulham striker Andy Johnson in the coming days.
Former Fulham frontman Johnson is a free agent after rejecting a new deal at Craven Cottage.
The 31-year-old worked under Mark Hughes during his time in charge in SW6 and is keen to hook up again with his former boss.
