QPR have joined the interest in Manchester City fullback Wayne Bridge.
The Daily Mail says QPR have been given permission to discuss a short-term deal, and co-owner Tony Fernandes has called Bridge's representative in a bid to get the deal finalised.
The 31-year old has been earmarked to replace Armand Traore, who is about to join up with Senegal's Africa Cup of Nations squad.
But Wolves have now entered the race after registering their interest with Bridge's adviser Aaron Lincoln. Wages of £95,000 a week could still be the stumbling block for both clubs.
