QPR veteran Bobby Zamora is excited for Charlie Austin ahead of his England debut today.
Zamora believes the former Burnley star, 25, can be a big hit for the Three Lions.
Zamora said: "He's a confident player right now and there's no better time to throw him in.
"But if he doesn't do it in the first game you can't write him off straight away.
"He needs to be in a few squads and make his way. You have to put him in there consistently. That's the only way.
"It's not easy for someone who's come from non-league to where he is now in such a short space of time to suddenly play with those guys.
"He'll need time to get used to it."
