Bobby Zamora is backing QPR teammate Charlie Austin for an England call.

The veteran striker is happy to play the supporting role for QPR's star man.

Zamora told the Daily Star: "It's worked for us. I'm happy to come on if I don't start. I make it hard for defenders and do my part.

"Charlie is a very good player. He's got the lot and scores all sorts of goals. I hope he gets an England call-up. His goals have been important for us."
