QPR defender Richard Dunne says he holds no grudge against former club Aston Villa.
The two teams meet tonight.
Dunne spent four years at Villa Park but was given the boot in 2013 after an injury-ravaged 12 months before Harry Redknapp handed the centre-back a Loftus Road lifeline.
"I'm too old to be trying to prove people wrong," he said.
"Every time you play you want to prove your manager right for picking you because we've got five centre-backs at the club keeping eachother on our toes.
"I enjoyed my time at Villa. We had a great season the first year, then the chairman decided to go a different way and the club's been in transition ever since."
