QPR veteran Shaun Derry says Adel Taarabt can inspire them to Premier League safety.

Taarabt was outstanding for victory over Arsenal.

"He's got such raw ability," said Derry.

"He is very immature as a player but this will give him massive confidence. He gets very frustrated when things don't go his way.

"When things do go his way he can get a bit carried away with himself.

"But he is young and there is a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.

"Everyone was looking for Adel to be the shining light and it's not been the case, just as it hasn't been the case with the new players that have arrived."
