Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi is a free agent.
The World Cup winner has terminated his contract by mutual consent.
The veteran, who will be 38 in August, had 12 months remaining on his Stadio Giuseppe Meazza deal.
QPR have been linked with Materazzi, who is also considering extending his career in the MLS.
