Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong remains unsettled at White Hart Lane.
The out-of-favour Cameroon defender thought he had found an escape route when he was on the verge of a move to QPR in August.
But Bassong was left reeling when Spurs pulled the plug on deadline day.
Bassong, 25, said: "I can't lie, it was very frustrating. I thought they would let me go, as they have a lot of cover in that position.
"I know they have to look after themselves, but I have to look after myself and my career.
"If I don't play, I want to move - be that QPR or somewhere else. I now just want to play."
