QPR are in Bosman talks with released Ipswich Town goalkeeper Brian Murphy.
The 28-year-old is a free agent after leaving Portman Road in May when his contract expired.
Skysports.com understands that QPR are interested in Murphy in order to give Neil Warnock's squad some depth.
The shot-stopper would provide back up to Paddy Kenny and Radek Cerny and would ensure Warnock has plenty of options.
Murphy signed for Ipswich from Bohemians in January 2010 and went on to make 25 appearances.
