QPR striker Bobby Zamora will delay hip surgery in order to help in their relegation battle.
The former Fulham centre-forward will play through the pain barrier to help QPR's bid to stay in the Premier League.
Manager Harry Redknapp confirmed: "Bobby will probably need an operation. The aim is to keep him going for the last 12 games of the season because he is that important us.
"If he has it now, he'll be out for the rest of the season and we don't want to do that."
