QPR striker Mackie eager to forget Diouf taunts

QPR striker Jamie Mackie says he's put the broken leg taunts of El Hadji Diouf to the back of his mind.

The memory of Diouf's outburst while laying on the floor suffering from a double fractured leg last year is still raw.

He said: "The club has stood by me and I am grateful for that. At the time of the injury, you look for people to blame. But the tackle itself was probably more my fault.

"I'm fine about it now. It was a big deal at the time and it's never nice when a fellow professional says what he said. But it's something in my past and I try to forget that day because it is probably the worst day of my career.

"I've worked hard to get where I am now and people like that don't enter my thought processes."
