DJ Campbell hopes to be fit for QPR's clash with Manchester United on December 18.

Campbell, out for almost two months with a fractured metatarsal, is confident he can make the biggest game at Loftus Road for years.

Rangers host the Prem champions on December 18 in the sides' first league meeting since 1995.

And lifelong Hoops fan Campbell said: "Three to four weeks is the target for my return. If I can get back any sooner, that would be great.

"We have always said December and that's looking good at the moment. Touch wood, there will be no setbacks and I'll be back soon."
