QPR striker Loic Remy admits he still remembers his first clash with Chelsea star Ashley Cole from two years ago.

Remy was with Marseille and faced Chelsea and England left-back Cole in a Champions League match in September 2010.

He said: "I'd just come back from injury and I was starting my first-ever match in the Champions League.

"Cole kept clattering into me. Boom, boom. He gave me two or three hard challenges at the start and put an incredible intensity in his sprints. It was impressive, I only had monsters in front of me and I came off the pitch feeling like a wreck. That night my body understood what the very highest level was all about."
