QPR have swooped for Tottenham youngster Freddy Champion.

The 17-year-old was taken on as a scholar at Loftus Road after impressing while on trial.

And the midfielder has now signed an agreement that will see him turn professional with the R's in 2012.

Champion was at QPR as a junior, along with Chelsea, before being snapped up by Spurs.
