QPR skipper Joey Barton is among the hardest working players in the Premier League.
Going into this weekend’s matches, only three Premier League players had covered more than 13 kms (8.06 miles) in every game they’d played in this season.
Leading the way is QPR midfielder Barton, who started the campaign in hard-running fashion with Newcastle before his move south.
The other two who have covered the yards are Norwich City’s ÂBradley Johnson and Barton’s Âfavourite rival, Karl Henry of Wolves.
Perhaps that’s why ÂBarton and Henry have become such sworn Âenemies. Both are proud about their energy Âlevels and work-rate. As well as tackling, they have the stamina to match each other yard for yard.
