Dyer has slammed West Ham for their medical treatment during his injury-hit four-year spell at the club.
The QPR new boy, 32, said: "It's frustrating when you're doing all you can to get fit but getting the wrong info and being misdiagnosed.
"I was out with a hamstring injury for nearly a full season. I'd get back, injure it again and see a specialist, who'd say 'Why've you been doing that?'.
"A number of times I lost months of the season and people were saying it's down to me - but I was only taking the advice I was given."
