QPR signing Cisse: I missed English crowds

QPR signing Djibril Cisse is happy to have left Lazio.

Cisse believes the English game suits him better than in Italy where he scored just once in 18 Serie A games for Lazio.

The £4million deadline-day signing said: "To be honest, I missed the crowds, the tension and the quality of the game — and the way it's always fast and forward in England.

"I guess the reason I didn't really do that well in Italy was that it's a different kind of football. It's more tactical and not really my cup of tea!"
