QPR are set to sign Carlton Cole ahead of West Ham United.

The Daily Mail says Cole, who was released by West Ham at the end of last season and is surprisingly still without a club, is now expected to join injury-hit Championship team QPR, who have been trying to sign him for two years.

Rs boss Harry Redknapp wants Cole to boost his striking options as he looks to return the west London side to the Premier League.
