Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has been sacked as commercial director by the new regime at QPR.
The Formula One moguls told chairman Gianni Paladini to dispense with the services of the popular ex-Rangers and Man United defender as they look to cut running costs at Loftus Road.
Parker, a World Cup semi-finalist in 1990, made the televised draw for the FA Cup first round last weekend and then returned to his Essex home to discover a letter from Paladini informing him that he was out of a job.
