QPR winger Tommy Smith says he cannot wait to begin pre-season training ahead of their return to the Premier League.
The R's produced a brilliant campaign to win the English Championship last term and Smith has indicated that he is chomping at the bit to get back to training with his teammates to get preparations started for the top flight.
"It's been a good break," he told the club' official website.
"The Championship is a long season and you always look forward to having a bit of time off, spending it with the family and going on holiday.
"I've got young kids and it's nice to spend some time with them, without having to worry about going off to train.
"You do look forward to the break - but then you get a month in and start missing the football!
"There are only another few of weeks left until the start of pre-season training and you just want it to come around.
"It'll be good to see all of the lads again. It seems like a long break and a long time since we've seen each other - especially when you're together every day for 10 months.
"It'll be nice to catch up with everyone and to get back into it."
