Harry Redknapp has given the clearest indication that Julio Cesar will not be with the club next season.
The Brazilian goalkeeper arrived at Loftus Road from Inter Milan last summer but is expected to depart after just 12 months following the West London clubs relegation to the Championship with Rob Green the man to step into his shoes.
"I don't see Julio being here next year - he's not a player for the Championship. He's a player for a top Italian or Spanish or Premier League team," Redknapp told the London Evening Standard.
"Julio's got the World Cup coming up and he's the top Brazilian keeper. Rob's (Green) come in and done great for me. He's the one we're looking to play next season."
