QPR's Ramsey blames players' concentration for Chelsea loss

QPR seemed to have earned a point from their hard-fought encounter against Chelsea only to be left empty-handed after 88th minute Cesc Fabregas' winner at Loftus Road.

After the West London derby, which ended 1-0 to the visitors, R's boss Chris Ramsey expressed his discontent at his side's inability to hold on to the point.

"I'm very disappointed because I thought we could have got something out of the game," he told Sky Sports. "I said this from the first day, detail can kill you.

"And when you've got top players who can pass the ball as they do and arrive in good places and finish, you get done. The top players score.

"From our point of view, we're disappointed because we've let two or three goals in from exactly the same position over the last couple of weeks.

"Players haven't been able to concentrate enough to make sure that doesn't happen. We're still in with a fight, we've done well but the players are disappointed.

"I feel sorry for the crowd because they were fantastic all the way throughout and to not get a point was very disappointing."

He added: "We've got ourselves to blame for where we are because our concentration has been appalling. We've lost by the odd goal every game over the last month and that's not good enough.

"We let late goals in in most of our games and that means you end up being disappointed at the end."
