QPR's Mackie: New signings still adapting

Jamie Mackie is confident that QPR's summer signings are still gelling together at Loftus Road.

Manager Mark Hughes brought in 11 new players during the transfer window and after two draws and two losses to start the Premier League season, Mackie is targeting improvement as the new boys continue to adapt to life in West London.

"Good players can play well together, but knowing each other's game is an important element. You need to understand where people are comfortable and where they aren't," the Scotland international told the club's official website.

"But more than anything, new lads need time to get used to the team shape and the demands the manager puts on his players.

"Every training session we have, the better and more organised we will be."

Hughes' new signings at QPR include goalkeepers Robert Green and Juilo Cesar, captain Park Ji-sung, midfielders Esteban Granero, Alejandro Faurlin and Stephane Mbia, winger Junior Hoilett, striker Andy Johnson and defenders Ryan Nelsen,Jose Bosingwa and Fabio (on loan from Man Utd).
