Esteban Granero has returned to Spain after just one season in England with QPR.
The Spanish midfielder has joined Real Sociedad on a season-long loan after the R's were relegated to the Championship.
Granero joined QPR from Real Madrid for £9million last summer but will now spend the 2013/14 campaign at the Anoeta Stadium in San Sebastian.
"Esteban Granero has returned to Spain to join Real Sociedad on loan," read a statement from QPR.
"The 26-year old midfielder has penned a season-long loan deal with the La Liga outfit.
"Granero, of course, joined QPR from Real Madrid last summer and has since made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Rs, scoring one goal.
"The deal is subject to international clearance."
