QPR's Bothroyd: We can take something from Liverpool and Man Utd

QPR striker Jay Bothroyd believes the team can get some points from their next two Premier League outings.

The 12th-placed R's take on Liverpool at Anfield and Manchester United at Loftus Road in their next two league matches and the 29-year old believes good performances against Chelsea and Manchester City so far this season point to potential positive results within the next fortnight.

"We've got two tough games coming up now and we are going to have to be on top of our game to get anything from Liverpool and Manchester United - but we believe that we can," he told the club's official website.

"It will be a tough match at Anfield, but any point away from home is a good point.

"We have to be positive going into the next two games.

"We beat Chelsea and, even though we didn't get the win against Manchester City, we did really well against them too. And at Tottenham we gave a good account of ourselves in the second half.

"We can't worry too much about the opposition - that's when you do get beat.

"We've got to approach the next two games without fear and do as well as we possibly can."
