QPR's Bothroyd looking to contribute at Norwich

Jay Bothroyd missed last week's 3-2 win over Stoke City but is determined to be back in action when QPR travel to Norwich City tomorrow.

The 29-year old striker was ruled out for the clash at Britannia Stadium last weekend but should be back in the match-day squad at Carrow Road and is looking to get back to his goalscoring ways after netting two in two prior.

"I'm hoping to be involved tomorrow," Bothroyd told the club's official website. "I've trained all week and I feel good.

"I picked up a little niggle before last weekend and didn't want to risk it.

"It was the professional thing to do and I'm glad that we got the result.

"It was a great win. Everyone knows what a tough place Stoke is to go to.

"The fans are noisy and they're a very physical team to play against.

"We showed tremendous resilience and team spirit after going one nil down and it was a fantastic result."
