QPR ready to pounce for West Ham's Green

QPR are closing in on the signing of Robert Green according to Sky Sports.

The R's have been linked with the England international for a few weeks and now it appears as they will go after him following his decision to turn down a new contract from promoted West Ham United.

QPR boss Mark Hughes is hoping to bring in a new goalkeeper at Loftus Road and it is believed that the West London club have offered Green a four-year deal with a deal set to be finalised soon despite the 32-year old being on duty at Euro2012.
