QPR are pushing to land Tottenham pair Steven Pienaar and Sebastien Bassong today.
The People says QPR have already had one bid rejected for South African star Pienaar after failing to meet Tottenham's £2.5million valuation but they aren't giving up just yet. New Loftus Road boss Mark Hughes is also looking to strengthen his defence and has targeted Cameroon centre-back Bassong, who hasn't been able to nail down a regular place at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham value Bassong at £1m more than the £3.5m QPR are willing to pay but Hughes hasn't given up hope a deal can be done before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
