QPR are pushing to close a deal for Lazio striker Djibril Cisse.
The Daily Mail says QPR hope to finalise a loan deal for Lazio's Cisse and will make an improved offer for Tottenham's Steven Pienaar.
The midfielder made a token 10 minute appearance against Watford on Friday and has grown increasingly frustrated at his lack of games.
