QPR boss Harry Redknapp has picked up a preseason injury!

The Hoops boss had knee surgery on Tuesday and could be on crutches for six weeks.

The cartilage issue arose last season but Redknapp hoped to delay an op.

He said: "My knee got very swollen and it was painful walking. I can't drive for a while."

Redknapp, 66, left hospital in a wheelchair on Wednesday.
