Taarabt has been an ever present in the starting XI under Redknapp and insists he has never felt so good about his game.
He told the London Evening Standard: “Harry has something that not a lot of managers have — when you play for him, he makes you feel you’re better than the opposition you’re playing against. I said thank you to him [over selling him to QPR] because since I’ve been here, this club have given a lot to me and I’ve had the best time in my career here.
“I was young [at Tottenham], I didn’t speak the language. I was in the team sometimes, came off the bench or was just in the squad sometimes. It was a very difficult time for me.”
