According to Harry Redknapp's representatives, QPR will begin negotiations "shortly" with their client about replacing Mark Hughes at Loftus Road. Hughes was sacked on Friday and former Tottenham boss Redknapp was quickly made the favourite to take over.
A spokesman for Paul Stretford's Triple S Sports and Entertainment company said: "Contact has been made between QPR and us as Harry Redknapp's representatives.
"Talks will be beginning shortly."
