QPR have approached Everton for Bryan Oviedo.

The People says the defender, who has battled back from a serious injury, is being squeezed out of Goodison Park by the form of England regular Leighton Baines and rising-star Brendan Galloway.

Oviedo played in the FA Cup last week as he tries to build his fitness back up and had to go off during Saturday's defeat at Chelsea.

He is wanted by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as part of his on-going overhaul of his squad at ChampionshipRangers.
