QPR offer to take Chelsea pair Musonda, Bamford on loan

Queens Park Rangers are hopeful of landing Chelsea duo Charly Musonda and Patrick Bamford on a loan deal, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.

QPR are looking to strengthen their attacking lineup during the January transfer window following the departure of Charlie Austin to Southampton and a host of players have been linked with a move to Loftus Road as a result.

The R's have indeed already signed Conor Washington from Peterborough United but manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is looking for further reinforcements and the Dutchman is hoping for a helping hand from former club Chelsea in the form of Musonda and Bamford.

Belgian whizkid Musonda has been linked with a number of bigger clubs in the UK and Europe of late but is set to be given a chance by Guus Hiddink by training with the Blues first team while Bamford is crying out for an opportunity at senior level following an unhappy loan spell with Crystal Palace in the first half of the season.
