QPR non-committal on reported capture of ex-Chelsea defender Bosingwa

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has played down reports that the club have signed Jose Bosingwa.

The Portuguese defender was released by Chelsea at the end of last season with suggestions that he had signed a deal with the R's but Fernandes has denied those claims although he has admitted that the player is a target for the Loftus Road club.

"None at the moment. I just focus on what we have at the moment," Fernandes told Sky Sports News when asked for a Bosingwa update.

"We are still looking. We are still hoping to strengthen one or two areas.

"He is one of many we have talked about. I'm not exactly sure where we are on that, so let's see."
