QPR are moving for Arsenal flop Marouane Chamakh.

The Daily Star Sunday says Morocco hitman Chamakh, 28, is not wanted at The Emirates and boss Arsene Wenger is willing to offload him - or consider a loan move to get his £65,000-a-week wages off the payroll.

Chamakh has not played a league game this season for Arsenal and could only make the bench in the Gunners' shock Capital One Cup defeat to Bradford last week.

QPR boss Harry Redknapp knows he has to strengthen his squad if he is to steer the Loftus Road outfit clear of the Premier League drop zone.
