QPR midfielder Karl Henry has broken his silence over his departure from Wolves.
Henry was dumped by Kenny Jackett upon the manager's arrival in 2012.
"I haven't really talked about how I left Wolves but the way it all ended was gutting," he told the Daily Express. "I captained them to win the Championship, stayed in the Premier League for three seasons and there is no shame in getting relegated from the Premier League - a lot of teams have done that before coming back stronger.
"The year before I left, a couple of Premier League clubs came in for me and Wolves wanted me to stay so I signed a four-year contract and 12 months into that contract they are forcing me out of the door. I'm born and bred there, though, so I am pleased to see they are doing well again."
