Leroy Fer is on his way to the north east to complete a move to Sunderland.
The Daily Mail reports that the QPR midfielder will undergo a medical on Wearside and hold talks with the Black Cats ahead of joining on a season-long loan.
Dutch international Fer, 25, has been linked with a move to Sunderland recently and it looks as though Dick Advocaat is set to get his man.
The former Feyenoord, FC Twente and Norwich City man, who will link up with cousin Patrick van Aanholt, will join fellow summer signings Jeremain Lens, Younes Kaboul, Adam Matthews and Sebastian Coates to the Stadium of Light.
