QPR midfielder Faurlin confident he's over knee woes

QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is confident he's over his knee injury.

Faurlin saw action against Manchester City last week.

"It's been difficult playing two games in one week," he told the Fulham Chronicle on his return from the cruciate ligament injury suffered in an FA Cup tie at MK Dons on January 7.

"This was a big test for me. It wasn't easy after being out for seven and a half months, to come to Man City. This will help me get stronger quicker - mentally as well.

"Obviously in the second half, I started to get tired and it was lights off. I didn't expect to play in this game, to be honest, but the gaffer wanted me to play and you have to be ready, always."
