QPR manager Harry Redknapp is believed to be interested in making a move for Newcastle United's Steven Taylor.
The 27-year old centre-back has made it known that he is keen to look for a loan move away from St James' Park after falling out of favour with Alan Pardew.
The Mirror suggests that the R's are looking to bolster their defence as they strive to gain promotion from the Championship and Redknapp could make an approach in January.
